Statement from the Executive Committee on the Race for NY-12 and the Think Big PAC

Adopted January 29, 2026 by the Lexington Democratic Club Executive Committee:

The voters of New York's 12th Congressional District deserve a campaign based on facts, vision, and the issues that impact our daily lives, not one defined by dishonest attacks funded by Donald Trump’s megadonors.

The recent ad campaign launched by Think Big PAC against Alex Bores is a blatant attempt by Donald Trump's billionaire donors to bypass the people of Manhattan and decide who represents us in Congress. By using misleading claims and 'dark money' tactics, these outside groups are attempting to silence the voices of New Yorkers.

We, the Executive Committee of the Lexington Democratic Club, believe that Manhattan is smarter than this. We are calling for an immediate end to this smear campaign and demand that this ad be taken down immediately.
